World in Blue and Taboo

Just finished these two paintings. On "Dancing in a World of Blue" her hands, her inward stare, the slight lean, the intricate design of her dress and the back lit glare all attracted me. On Taboo, I attempted to capture emotion, expression, personality, character, and technically--folds and depth. I went with a simple background because it does not distract. I want her to pull you in. Her pouty lips and sultry eyes should do it. It took about 16-18 hours to complete. What do you all think? Was it worth the time?
